• Question: if animal testing did not continue, how would you feel? would you care or would you just ignore it?

      Hello, thanks for your question. If animal testing were to stop tomorrow then I would be very sad and worried for man-kind and animal-kind. This is because, sadly, the use of animals is essential for the development of many kinds of compounds for both humans and animals. I absolutely hate the fact that animals are used, but until a reliable model is developed that can fully replace animals, we will continue to be dependent on them. The types of compound that are required by law to be tested on animals are: chemicals compounds for medicines, biological compounds for medicines, pesticides and industrial chemicals. Scientists are working extremely hard to find other ways of testing these compounds and are also making huge efforts to limit the numbers of animals used in studies if animals must be used. I think is great and is definitely a step in the right direction.
