• Question: How come cancer treatments only work for some people?

      Sadly it is because everyone is different, and every cancer is different. Even if two people have the same type of cancer, how it is effecting their body and how it is moving through the body is completely unique. So even though they are given the same treatment and the same drugs it doesn’t always work in the same way.

      This is why scientists wants to learn more about diseases such as cancer, to try and develop personalized medicine. The aim is to be able to cure everyone! Hopefully one day.
