Question: Does marijuana use lead to the use of other drugs?

There is a strong link between people who smoke marijuana and then people who go onto other drugs.

My opinion is that people who want to use mind altering drugs such as marijuana and LSD and other things have the type of personality where they want to experiment. But that said, a lot of people smoke marijuana and never in their lives think of taking another illegal drug.

Whereas people who are unwilling to use marijuana which to a lot of people is seen as a fairly mild drug compared to many other illegal drugs, are they types of people who don’t want to experiment with drugs and therefore never try any.

But I also feel the same is true with alcohol, a lot of people do not see it as a big jump from drinking a lot to taking drugs. The big jump is that one is legal and the others are not.
